Matrix 10U Green Goes 3-0 Brings Home Gold Medal from MD Flames' March Madness Tournament
Last year's 9U Green had a great season, including four victories over Division I teams. Well, the 2010 version of the team, the 10U Green team, has picked up right where last year's team left off, by knocking off a 10U Division I team and then proceeding to capture their division in the 2010 Maryland Flames' March Madness Tournament.
The team opened Saturday with 46-6 win over an overmatched, but game 9U team. Then, in the afternoon, the 10U Green team defeated the Division I Lady Tigers team from Maryland by the score of 26-24.
Then on Sunday, 10U Green took home the first place medals with a 25-8 win. Congratulations to Coach Buckley and his 10U Green team.
