About the Matrix

From its quiet beginning in the Spring of 2003, the Matrix has gone from a single team of 18 girls that wanted the opportunity to play select-level basketball during the summer to a comprehensive, integrated force for the development of girls' basketball in the area.

The Matrix was founded in Arlington, Virginia and is a member of the Potomac Valley AAU District. While georgraphically based out of the Arlington-Falls Church area, the Matrix serves players from throughout Northern Virginia and the entire Potomac Valley District.

The Matrix offers a wide variety of basketball development programs and our programs are designed to further the following keys to the Matrix experience: Opportunity and Excellence, on and off the court.
