Arlington County Travel Program -- 2009 Tryout Schedule Posted; Tryout Registration Open
Updated, September 15, 2009. Arlington's participation in the FCYBL program is administered by the Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation and Community Resources Youth Sports Division; Arlington Travel teams are NOT Matrix teams.

Answer to FAQ: FCYBL Rules Limit Application of Zip Code Exceptions for Arlington Players or Teams
Players residing in Arlington County can only play for the Arlington Travel program and Fairfax County residents are not allowed to play on Arlington Travel teams. While Section 5.3.3 of the FCYBL rules generally do provide for teams to have two "zip code exception" players, Section 5.1 of the FCYBL rules preclude Fairfax County residents from playing on non-Fairfax County teams, including Arlington Travel teams.

These provisions are not an Arlington Travel policy. The restriction on Arlington teams and Arlington players is part of Section 5.1 of the FCYBL Rules.
